Guys, I'm still taken aback. This Flipping journey has been a wild ride and it just keeps getting better.
I've been in this community for awhile. And you guys are awesome. I feel so proud of myself and I just want to share my story to possibly encourage some of you.
4 years ago, I was stuck in the middle of addiction. I used EVERYDAY for 7 years. The last year, was meth. I lost my job. While tweaking, I found out that you could make money by selling things from Walmart/Target for a profit. I was pretty amazed, honestly. How could I sell something for more then Walmart? After my first sale, I went ALL IN. I used my last paycheck and invested it all into Walmart Exclusive toys. I was on meth at the time, so I was able to drive 16 hours a day, going to 20-30 Walmarts across the Midwest and collecting EVERY new release toy. I had a printer mounted in my car and would pack at night. I eventually got caught with drugs, charged, and put on probation. I had no choice but to get clean.
Well, thankfully I had Flipping. The adrenaline and risk factors associated with it fed my addict mind. Right when I got clean the Soundwave G1 Reissue dropped. I was the first to sell it online. $49.99 retail and I sold them for $180 in the beginning. I ended up selling 600 of them in a few months. I have NEVER seen that amount of money in my life. I always had $0 prior to flipping. I never could hold a real job. Flipping replaced my drug addiction. I became addicted. And I finally felt good about myself. I was proud of something I did for the first time ever.
The Retail Arbitrage was not sustainable sober. It became too much. Driving for 16 hours, sleeping in vehicle, packing in car washes. I just couldn't do it anymore. So I found a new way. I don't want to give out to much information about what I turned retail arbitrage into. But lets just say, I come into possession of LARGE volumes of electronics people bring to Best Buy to "recycle". This is all contract based, so it's sustainable and consistent. I've been a solo venture these last 3 years. In 2022 I did 212k in sales. With over 60% of that being profit.
Well, today I just secured a contract effectively DOUBLEING my volume. And I can't do it alone.
I literally went from homeless, facing a Felony Charge, begging Paypal to release funds so I can pay for gas and more product to purchasing a home, running a self employed business, and paying for others peoples lives in 4 years. I believe in you all.

Hi all - I have a client that is a parent-holding firm with multiple child subsidiaries. Their initial request was to keep all entities entirely separate to make the transition of a sale easier. The issue arose when people needed access to mailboxes, aliases, and other items from different orgs. We're now doubling up on licenses and users are having to manage multiple account credentials, etc.
What they need to be able to do on a basic level is...

• Be able to provide alias addresses with other org domain names
• Provide permissions for users in Org A to mailboxes in Org B, etc.
• Address book with contacts from all orgs visible
• Teams communication (already possible with external org access etc.)
• Eventually, file sharing across environments

I'm just starting to dig further into trusts and B2B, last time I did this work was 100% on-prem a while back and we were setting up Lync federations etc.
Does anyone have any experience or recommendations on this? Any help is appreciated!

He legit believes he’s not the problem.
Look, I get working in corporate America sucks, but there isn’t much choice right now.
He’s been working in sales for a decade or so. About a year ago, his current employer had an assistant management position come open in a different location, and he got it. There is no doubt in my mind that a big part of why he got it was because his manager at the time wanted to get rid of him, so he talked him up and recommended him so that he would become somebody else’s problem.
Now he regrets taking the new position because of how far away it is and wants a job closer to here. (Well, that’s just one complaint. He seems to think that somewhere out there, there are perfect jobs that he’ll love every aspect of.) So he tried to transfer back into sales at the former location. He seemed shocked they wouldn’t take him back. 🤣 Told me, “Apparently, I’m a ‘disruptive employee’ for setting boundaries with my work.”
He thinks getting angry and storming out before his shift is over, calling off frequently, having tantrums in the back (sometimes getting mildly violent like shoving things around), and making coworkers cry is “setting boundaries.”
So, he got a new job he’ll be starting soon. I wonder how long until they start seeing through him. He interviews AMAZINGLY well, so charming. They don’t have a clue what they’re signing up for. And he of course also thinks way differently about the job than it actually is. He told me, and I quote, “seems like I’ll be running the place in a few months.”
Aside from the management position he got a year ago, do you have any idea how many promotions he’s supposedly been up for or was “definitely” gonna get over the years that never amounted to anything. BECAUSE YOU’RE A PROBLEMATIC EMPLOYEE, YOU DUMBSHIT!!!

As the title suggest, I'm looking for some clarity on whether there are disntictive differences between embarking on an IVF journey with a public hospital (KKH) vs a Private Practitioner?
My wife and I enrolled in the IVF journey at KKH earlier this year, and are almost at the stage of harvesting eggs for fertilisation / insemination.
However, we recently consulted a OBGYN prof (not just doctor, but prof) who was one of the pioneers of IVF in Singapore. He told us to consider doing our IVF journey under his clinic as his medical processes are more 'advanced' than what KKH does, and that his people / lab techs are more experienced than those at KKH.
I get that private healthcare can be better than the public sector, but I can't shake the feeling this is a bit of a sales pitch.
Anyone able to share advice on whether Im too cynical for my own good, or if private IVF journey is truly better than what we may get at public hospitals like KKH?

I lucked out and got a 3/5 seeping from my weekly crest. I went to check market prices to sell it and coincidentally I saw a 3/5 howler's 2 minutes away from going up for sale for 28k (avg 72k on my server). I bought it really just to flip but am now debating on if I should use one of these or sell?

I’m going to insist my employer updates my job title to match my responsibilities. A looking for advice on what job title I should ask for.
I (27F) really don’t know what to pick. I want to choose a title that would be niche and beneficial in the long run.
My department is customer service, and that’s my title. I don’t process orders or take customer calls anymore though. Instead I upload and maintain customer and chain price lists in our system. This process includes seeking a quote from sales by provided them with costing and a sales analysis, then uploading the pricing to our system and quoting the customer.
I also am being trained for sales reports I will do on a weekly basis.
And I also maintain our catalog pricing internally and must make changes and updates on a daily basis.
I work with the sales team a lot and answer their questions. I also work with chain customer accounts and provide the pricing. Is there a job title this would interpret nicely into? And be good for the long run.
