I’ve really tried to find any details or reviews online about the Gamo Evo 10X Gen3i .22 air rifle and no one on YouTube seems to have reviewed it. Does anyone know the true difference between the Evo line and the other Gen3i guns they sell like the fusion and magnum? I’m thinking of pulling the trigger on the link above for pest control. What would you guys think about Raid adding summoning charms to increase our ability to target certain champions?
There are charms in the game right now for use in the forge. When we are forging a piece of gear we can add rank and rarity charms, type charms for boots/wep, etc, and substat charms.
What if they added charms for shards? We could boost our chances of getting a higher rarity champion by adding a rarity charm. We could boost our chances of getting a certain faction with a faction charm and then they might add affinity charms (for ancient and sacred) and type charms (defense, support, attack and HP champs etc) For example, 2 champions that would take my account to the next level are Teodor or Demytha
If I am targeting Teodor from ancients or Sacreds. I add a Rank charm, a Knights Revenant charm, a Spirit charm, and a Support charm to boost my chances of getting an Epic or Legendary, Knights Revnant spirit support champion.
If I am targetting Demytha from Void Shards I can add a rank charm, a dwarfs faction charm, and a support charm.
Because Raid's primary objective is to milk our wallets, we know that implementing something like this can't provide too much of a targeted chance increase, because then we would buy fewer shards overall. I still think that giving the player the option to pick when, where, and how they approach targeted summoning gives the player a level of agency and control that feels rewarding.
Raid current system of Targeted summons is to have 10x chance to summon events. They will have an x10 chance on 'Posioners' or an x10 chance on Defensive champs with several champions on offer. But you might not have shards or you might be a F2P player who is saving their horde of shards for the next fusion event or summon rush event/tournament. Also, these x10 events are a scam anyway I saw a video on the math.
They could sell these charms in packs and have them as rewards from new game modes they already have planned to add to the game, maybe throw them into the daily log-in rewards and daily free thingy from the shop like gear charms.
Does it add too much bloat to the game? Would something like this appeal to you over random x10 summon events?

APUSH teacher recommendation (8/10): I think I got to know her pretty well and that she was really able to get to know me as a student. She told me she tried to really showcase the strong qualities of myself that really shined through and would serve me best. She also told me she liked how I overcame challenges on the history day competition and how I was persistent/a grit student. I also did try my best in APUSH class and i feel like she probably wrote a lot about that, including about my character.

AP Psychology teacher (6/10): Wrote it in a couple of days, so not sure how strong it was. I feel like she somewhat got to know me in AP Psych class but nothing outside of the classroom. She also didn't know what COMMON APP when I asked her so this was probably a first for her, which is kinda a red flag lol but not anything bad. I feel like it was probably average to above average, but who knows it could have been well-written.
City employee internship advisor (5/10): I got the letter of recommendation after my internship and it was very generic, but i still asked her to fill it out for the community recommender part of the Common app recommendation section. I think she wrote like an extra sentence or two but people have told me it was very generic and didn't really demonstrate extra qualities about myself.
Interviews
Had 1 alumni interview with Dartmouth College. I would rate it a 7/10. I got along with her pretty well but I did have some hick ups but I really was able to express myself well. I did prepare for it but it wasn't anything extraordinary.
Essays
UC PIQ Essays (8.5/10): I spent a lot of time writing/editing my UC personal insight questions. I went to both my AP English literature and AP English language teachers, my counselor, one of my close friends, my APUSH teacher, and online "advisors" who somewhat helped although I did pay them upwards of $400 in total to review/edit. I started writing them on November 1st, but I went through so many drafts. I had like 40 pages of just drafts on the google doc. I did have lots of people go over it (which may have been a bad thing due to an overwhelming amount of different advice/feedback/edits they had). I also did pay for online college advisory services to look over my essays, which wasn't too helpful because they gave very minimal edits/feedback. I think three of my PIQ essays were pretty strong at the point . The fourth PIQ essay I started writing the week of the deadline and it turned out pretty good, but not super strong. I feel like one of my UC essays was especially strong for how well-written it was, how unique it was, and how much it demonstrated my personal values/challenges. I truly do feel like my essays on leadership, overcoming a challenge, favorite academic subject, and community essay shined through on me as an applicant and demonstrated who I was as well as my potential.
Common APP PS essay (7/10): As for my Common App Personal Statement Essay, I started on December 16th (one day after my birthday LOL). I tried being different and writing about an inanimate object I've had since I was young. I wrote about this and basically mixed in one of my strongest UC Essays from above into one really well-written essay. I think it was an alright essay but now looking back on it, it wasn't that well-written LOL. I didn't have a winter break and I remember editing one of my supplemental essays like 10 minutes before New Years LOL. I had like 20 supplemental essays to write and I think some of them were really well-written and insightful, while some were written as if it was written last-minute (because it was). But I really liked my community essay, at that point, it was really polished and well-written so I had that as my basis for all the community supplemental essays. For my common app personal statement and supplemental essays, i spent upwards of $600 for online college essay editing services, which was absolutely not worth it because I feel like i could just relied on my personal feedback and not others. However, I did spend all my winter break applying to like 16 private schools, including writing the supplemental essays and common app personal statement that winter break. The topic of my PS statement was more of a grit story and what I learned after working with my mom a lot with house cleaning and how it has changed my outlook on life.

Additional Information: Although I only got I would get into mid-tier schools like UC Irvine or something, I am really happy about my results! Despite being rejected from almost all the private schools besides Vanderbilt and Pepperdine, I really did like how Vanderbilt chose me. It was a super difficult decision picking between Vanderbilt CS (intention to switch to college of engineering) and Berkeley Data Science, I ultimately chose Berkeley because of how prestigious it was for the technology sector and how close it was from home (around 2 hour drive). Although Vanderbilt truly did appeal to me with its student social life scene, academic and social life balance, good food, new location, happy student body, and rigorous academics, it was a bit too far from home. However, although I only got into 7 out of 27 colleges I applied for, I am happy that top universities did pick me and that I was able to choose from such excellent universities. Cal is where my next four years will be! Now, that's only if UCLA doesn't get me off their waitlist, but even then I might still choose Cal if I get off the waitlist. go bears!

Here is the current build I'm looking at including peripherals (only thing missing is a monitor stand from Amazon). Comes out just over $2k USD, with tax I'm estimating around $2300.
I want to use this machine for gaming mostly, but it will also do some other programs (I'm the process of learning Solidworks/Fusion 360 and Python) and general use like scrolling the internet and watching streams. The plan with games is to be able to do modern AAA at least on high at 1440p. I don't really play shooters or racing games, I prefer action RPG games like Elden Ring.
Some questions/thoughts:

• Am I overpaying for more performance than I really need? I would like this system to last me a long time, especially at spending $2k on it, but I'm not sure if I'm overbuying. I haven't done much PC gaming and so I'm pretty out of touch with what I need. Currently running from a Lenovo Legion laptop that I got on sale a few years back, and it can handle indie games and older titles such as Skyrim, but more modern games it struggles on. I've heard as well that "future proofing" isn't something that works; but surely going in with the latest gen of processors and GPU's etc will give me more longevity than a system on last gen hardware?
  
• Would it be worth it to switch to a full AMD system? I've heard that performance can be better on AMD if you match the CPU and GPU but not sure if that's still true today or if it makes enough difference to be worth it.
  
• 2,000 USD is a lot of money. I am fortunate that I have the income to spend, but if I'm not sure it's going to work out then I'm taking (in my eyes) a really big gamble. I'm very price conscious and hate spending money on stuff blindly, so I've tried to do a lot of research on these parts to make sure they're ok, but the internet is so full of anecdotes and mixed opinions which I'm not sure how to parse sometimes. I've deliberated on this build over the last few days it's been sinking in that I'm about to spend so much money and it could go very wrong if I miss some incompatibility somewhere, or I get a bad component and it fries something...It's pretty nerve wracking to be honest.

I'm not super into tech stuff, so I'm unsure of what a lot of this means and how I can fix it. Can anyone explain this to me like you're explaining it to a toddler? Modmaking has been a struggle bus for me so I would really appreciate it if anyone could tell or show me how to fix this error in simpler terms haha.

I'm going to play my first official mission/battle outside of boarding actions at 2000 points in 2 weeks and was hoping for some advice.
Because i have not played outside of boarding actions i am kinda light on troops, which leaves me at the moment with only the option to go with two Patrol Detachments, unless i missed something? While i could go and get some more warriors before then i'd rather spend the time painting up a few more models, so my opponent doesn't face a literal silver tide.
Any recommendations are welcome, especially when it comes to relics and warlord traits.

I play MD so please don’t rag on me, but I’m curious about the perspectives about playing Pendulums are in the TCG.
Like Electrumite is banned in the TCG but Limited. It’s primarily because (correct me if I’m wrong) of the Astrograph spamming and Supreme Venom. It’s Unlimited in the OCG, which means you can use its copying abilities up to 4 times if you have the resources, but banned in the TCG cause of that plus the Lyrilusc FTK.
And because of that, it’s Limited. In addition, cause Tears ruin everything, Instant Fusion is banned too. Which means in normal cases (without Cyber-Stein, which got banned now), the FTK is impossible, at least in the TCG. I don’t know you guys feel about IF either. I liked it for my Pure Preda Deck, but I now see how it can get abused. But it’s also weird about the Harmonic Synchro Fusion and I can see that on the banlist very soon.
That being said, could Electrumite be taken off the list now? I know that Superheavies got hit, but without her, it seems to make Pendulum plays completely . Like they have mass swarm, but they only have 3 normal S/T Zones to work with and are reliant on Link Monsters to PS from the Extra Deck (which was needed, but it’s a huge nerf nonetheless). I also don’t know how good Beyond the Pendulum in the main card games. Correct me if I’m wrong, but these two cards are the only Link Monsters that support Pendulums. Everything else has good effects and bottom arrows.
Here are some other questions I got:

1. How would you balance Pendulums?
2. In addition to Supreme Venom, would banning Astrograph kill Pendulums?
3. Would it be okay to revert Pendulum Zones by being their own separate Zones?
4. How would you feel about a Pendulum Link monster? Maybe not like a boss monster, but maybe as support with restrictions like you can only PS it in the Extra Monster Zone?
5. What are your opinions about the new Z-Arc cards?
6. If she were to be unbanned, what could be some current exploits in the TCG that would put her immediately back on the list, with or without the Z-Arc support?
7. How are Pendulums in the OCG with their own banlist, especially since they can perform the FTK.

I ordered an H9 Flow off Best Buy a few days ago and canceled it the following morning because I believe I wanted the O11D Evo so I went ahead and purchased that. They issued a refund for the H9, but still shipped it 🤦‍♂️. So now I have both cases sitting in front of me and don’t know which one to use.
1. My main question is which one has better temps?
I would test it myself since I have both cases, but I want to sell one of the cases as brand new to get more money off it. I can’t find any actual adequate comparisons in temps between the two cases online. Some people “say” that the H9 has higher temps and some “say” it has lower temps than the O11D Evo—both without providing any numbers to backup the claims. Ignore the videos from a YouTuber called Robeytech Live, he was using an H9 Flow Elite which has significantly worse airflow than the H9 Flow.
My room already gets up to 80-82F after prolonged sessions (5-6 hours+) and that’s just with an i7-9700k (non-OC), NH-D15, 2080 Ti (factory OC), and TT View 71 case with 3x 140mm fans so this is why I’m extremely worried about temps. I also can’t keep my room open because our cats always come in and mess with my stuff and I don’t want to have to run the AC every time I game.
2. If temps really aren’t that different between the two, which one would you use and why?
As for looks, I myself don’t really care and think they’ll both look amazing. But other facts such as noise suppression can be a huge deciding factor.

3. OPTIONAL QUESTION: Should I switch to a 4070 for better temps?
I don’t care about the performance difference, I’ve read that both cards go nearly toe to toe against each other. My main concern is the power draw between the cards. The 3080 has a power draw of 300w max and the 4070 is only 200w. That can result in a huge difference between max temps.

Hi! As you all know, our Light subclasses have at least 2, sometimes even 3 alternative Supers, whereas our Darkness subclasses have only 1. So I thought to come up with some alternative Super abilities for our Darkness subclasses, to help them be a bit more fleshed out. Let me know what you think!
STASIS
WARLOCK: Field of Frost
The Warlock summons a field of Stasis Crystals in a wide radius around themselves, then with a pulse from their Stasis staff, they shatter all crystals for massive damage in the affected radius.
Note: this is a single cast. Upon pressing the Super key, the Warlock conjures their Stasis Staff and a Field of Crystals, then shortly after (1s) comes the Pulse. The Pulse cannot be delayed.
HUNTER: Winter Harvest
The Hunter summons a Stasis scythe and roams the battlefield to reap their enemies.
Light Attack: Sweep the scythe in an arc to inflict damage to all enemies in Melee Range in front of you.
Heavy Attack: Slam your Stasis Scythe into the ground to send forward 3 waves of Stasis Crystals, and freeze all enemies around you.
TITAN: Shattering Fury
The Titan supercharges their Stasis gauntlet and leaps in the air, then slams the ground to create a wall of huge Stasis Crystals that violently Shatter for massive damage.
Note: There would be a degree of Aerial Movement here, but think more like a Consecration/Ballistic Slam with a longer range and higher leap altitude type of thing and not something a-la Doomfist in Overwatch. The Shatter damage provided by the crystals created by this super is 10x the one of normal shatter damage.
STRAND
WARLOCK: Brood's Frenzy
Upon cast, the Warlock immediately generates 5 perched Threadlings, then you can roam the battlefield. The light attack shoots one of your perched Threadlings at the enemy, while the Heavy attack sends a burst of all 5 perched Threadlings towards the enemy. All spent Threadlings instantly regenerate while in this super and the Threadlings you shoot have increased movement speed and more aggressive Tracking.
HUNTER: Chaining Barrage
The Hunter leaps in the air to throw a barrage of 5 Strand Kunais. The Kunais attach to the surface they hit and then send out a Suspending and Severing burst in an area around them (Think roughly a little wider than a Warlock's rift). Killing enemies Suspended by this Super grant Woven Mail.
Note: The Kunais last for 35 seconds and send out the burst every 7 seconds. If they attach to an enemy, they won't kill it but they will Suspend and Sever it.
TITAN: Warding Threads
The Titan pulls at the very Strand of reality, bringing it closer together and creating a Strand Wall in front of themselves and their team. The Wall can be shot through by allies but blocks enemy projectiles. It also grants all allies behind it Woven Mail and weapon Range, Handling, Reload Speed and increased Rate of Fire. Strand Weapons also get Unraveling Rounds and enemies that walk through the Wall are suspended.
Note: The Wall lasts 30 seconds. Increased RoF means that every weapon will shoot at the highest RPM the weapon type can get. So if you're using the SWARM Machine Gun it will fire at 900 RPM while keeping the damage of its own archetype. This doesn't affect weapons with already the highest RPM stat within their type.
