I’m in my second trimester and my belly is starting to show. My husband and I finally told our family’s. However since we’ve told them they greet only my belly and completely ignore me. I'll take it short and go straight to the point.
On a Fuji X-Pro2 (that has a UHS-II slot) I got these performance from a buffer test:

• Old UHS-I Lexar: 20 picture
• UHS-II v60 Lexar: 47
• UHS-II v90 Angelbird: 26

There's clearly something wrong. I would expect at least the same performance of the v60, or if you really want to, +/- a couple of picture considering variance error if that's already the maximum the X-Pro2 can do, not half. It is supposed to be a superior SD (and it is priced like that at €200).
So I did a synthetic bench on PC using CrystalDisk and the random read and write (RND4K Q32T1 and Q1T1) the Lexar v60 outperform the Angelbird by almost 3 times.
So the question is: Are they just one of those other companies that basically boost their sequential read and write speed just to publish good numbers but perform equal or worst than others, or do I simply got a bad card?
Normally I would just ignore it, send it back and that's it. But I read basically only good things about them, so I would like to gather some opinion.
FWIW, I bought it from MPB, so yes, it was a used one, but from my experience, memory do work or not, that's not really something in between. It is not like they are degraded over time. Again, generally speaking.

Since there is a delay in my full time contract from the company (im a working student now, and my student visa is ending in a month. i am an exchange student, so i am a student here but dont get a degree from here.) I had applied for a JOB SEEKER RESIDENCE PERMIT. I got a call from the KVR today and the person who handled my application said that since I do not have a German degree, I need to go back to my home country and apply for the job seeker visa from THERE, and not at Munich. He said this is only for the 18 month job seeker visa for students who got a german degree. (2) is that so? can people without a german degree not apply for a job seeker visa in Munich, or Germany?
I asked him "What if my full time contract arrives when I am in germany (before my visa expires next month). Then I will be in Germany and it is convenient for me to apply here since I already got the contract when I have a valid residence also. So can I apply for the work visa/residence permit for employment at Munich?" and he said, "NO, even then you would have to go back to your country and get a job visa". Hi so I want to get a credit card mainly to build some credit in future, when i have spare money on side to pay off credit loan soon as possible ect.
My question is how in the flying f am i meant to get a credit card? I have applied for one multiple times, yet been unsuccessful every time. I have admittedly in the past gone unarranged overdraft for short amount of time as i got paid following week.

I am an Information Science major at Cornell University, where our Info Sci program is a relatively open-ended tech degree offering courses and concentrations in areas as varied as UI/UX to Data Science to Web Dev to Game Dev to Tech Law & Policy etc. My particular degree path is rather technical and most courses I am taking towards the major are CS classes or crosslisted with the CS department. My concentration is called Digital Culture and Production and I intend to fulfill it using stuff like a D3js data visualization course, the intro to computer graphics programming courses, and being a programmer for the game development courses. I’m interested in pursuing front-end web development work and was thinking to add a CS minor to my studies, as well as a UX Design second concentration, but I have several concerns:
Despite the quantity of actual CS courses I am taking towards my major already, a CS minor requires courses towards it to be taken under the “CS” dept label rather than “INFO” even when crosslisted, meaning that I have to stack several CS electives over my existing coursework. This produces a few stacked semesters if I try to stick with all the courses I want, especially for semesters with the notoriously difficult game development courses planned.
A number of courses in both areas do not interest me, but I would have to squeeze them in to fulfill the requirements. This is particularly true for CS where I would exhaust most CS electives of interest by taking them as INFO to count towards my major.
Lastly, I worry that a CS minor or especially a UX second concentration might have the opposite intended effect and make my major appear a lot less technical than it really is. Is that a real concern? Worried someone would see the minor and assume I took 6 CS courses total to fulfill it, instead of my major itself being the bulk of my CS studies.
As an added note, how would I even list all that out on a resume without it becoming a bit long winded? “Information Science, concentration in Digital Culture and Production, second concentration in UX Design, minors in Computer Science and Game Design” seems a bit wordy to me.

Since I got to CL 600 I got shit on by Thanos/Shuri decks. I'm CL 848 right now and got infinite today thanks, I think, to two cards, Patriot and Goose. Even a cheap Patriot deck can hold its ground decently against a Thanos-Lockjaw deck, but suffers against the standard Shuri decks. Here comes Goose. She can protect your Patriot from Enchantress (I know it's not a meta card, but it feels good to know your main win condition won't be shattered), but more importantly she's a pain in the ass for your opponent. The Brood + Goose on a location : 8 powers for 5 mana (and it probably will increase with Blue Marvel or Patriot). Goose and a couple of cheap cards that will be boosted later on : right now it might be better than Storm or Professor X because it's unusual, thus unexpected. It's a way to soft close a lane at a minor cost. Your opponent played Sunspot+Armor ? Tell them to fuck off that lane. Feel free to add Shang-Chi if you really want to make a statement to Shuri decks players.
If you lack some cards to make a top tier meta deck, I'd suggest you try to put a Goose in there, I think its a really underrated card. I'd like to add that I'm not a really good player, I made a lot of blunders on my way to infinite, so it should motivate you more than anything (if it's your goal to reach that point). That said, I think the biggest gap between players lays in the ability of Snapping. You should always snap early if you have your key cards in your hand or if a location favors you. The playerbase seems a bit conservative (the players won't risk four ou height cubes on a bluff) but won't bother risk two cubes to see how the game unfolds (which is not a bad mindset, but you have to take advantage of it: if you snap when you're statistically ahead, it should make you gain cubes at the end of the day). Don't be predictable, most of the meta decks are ; the Snap mecanic should help you climb in that regard. I hope my post will be helpful to some of you. I played Goose as a weird tech card, it might be a great counter to Shuri decks or a total disaster (I hope not), please don't curse me too much if this doesn't work for you, I'm not trying to mislead you into trying something awful. I'll join my cheap decklist in the comments, I can add a screenshot featuring my 848 CL and my infinite rank if you want a proof that it works somehow.

I think there is consensus that putting spend on your card helps you get out of pop up jail. My question is what kind of spend are we talking about? Like $500 every month or more like $2k-$5k?
I’m in pop up jail (applying for Gold) and I have the blue cash everyday and Platinum. I regularly put $1000 on blue everyday. Should I put that spend on my platinum instead since they are in the family of cards?

In the interest of a somewhat-concise conversation, I am limiting this to criticism that occurs while in the US rather than when Americans travel to non-English speaking countries.
From my perspective, Americans are held to a different standard when it comes to the pronunciation of non-English words and names, particularly when it comes to cultures that they have little first-hand exposure to. I think the bulk of this criticism comes from born-and-raised Americans themselves, not necessarily immigrants or individuals visiting the US.
For instance, I have a few friends from Germany - German is their primary language, and they struggle quite a bit with the “th” sound. It is not a natural sound in their language, so the name “Beth” sounds more like “Bess”. It is understood that they are not used to the mouth shape required for the “th” sound, so it is not considered disrespectful to pronounce the name incorrectly.
As another example, I did Taekwondo for about a decade, and my name was mispronounced daily. The middle of my name is a sound that doesn’t really exist in Korean, so some people couldn't pronounce it. I am particular about my name (it is similar to another, slightly more common name and people often swap it out), but I never felt the need to criticize a pronunciation that was certainly well-intentioned and likely unavoidable.
In my experience, when Americans have similar struggles with certain sounds, that same grace isn’t given. It is seen as disrespectful or “classically American” to not take the time to learn, when it often seems to come down to unfamiliar sounds, tones, and mouth shapes. I think, to some degree, this expectation comes down to the melting-pot nature of the US, however that diversity is not necessarily homogenous throughout the country. It is difficult to learn the basics of a language and/or culture when you have little exposure to it.
To clarify a few things:

• I do think you should make every effort to respect a person’s name, culture, and identity. I am not a fan of encouraging immigrants or non-American visitors to “Americanize” their name or choose another American name outright.
• I think Americans should prioritize learning languages outside of English.
• I hope that this linguistic gap can close through increased representation on TV and in other forms of media.
• I recognize that there are plenty of Americans who are not understanding about mispronunciation of American English names/words.

That being said, I think equal grace should be given in understanding that some sounds are unfamiliar to a person’s native tongue, and they may struggle to hear and implement the difference between correct and incorrect pronunciation.

Basically, I had a fraud charge of $60 tagged under a delivery service that I have never put my card details into. I noticed it 3 days after and blocked my card for a week to see if I can handle the issue with the company itself. They said the transaction was not in their system so I called the bank if they could open an investigation and replace my card.
Went into the branch, got it replaced, and within 4 days after having the new card I get spammed with 5 new transactions totaling up to $600 flagged under the same delivery service. I have not once used my debit card or entered the details of it into anything within the 4 days, I was still using my credit card.
I went straight to the bank an hour after I saw the transactions and asked them to block the account and open an investigation. The thing is though, the teller ended up closing the account and an investigation wasn't open for 3 days until I called in to get an update.
I went into a different branch to see if I could get things handled but I could recognize that the teller was also very new and the manager wasn't even sure what to do at first. She tried telling me I should call in to open an investigation but I was like isn't that why I'm here?? Eventually, she ended up setting my account to deposit only and she opened an investigation. I called in a day after to make sure that a case was ACTUALLY open and it's been a few days since the whole ordeal.
This entire situation has had me stressed. I thought someone had taken my identity and I was checking login attempt history, changing passwords, scanning all my devices (even resetting them), and checking if anyone opened any new accounts but I was completely clear on my end. I find it odd that TD didn't immediately recognize the charges or notify me at any point. If anyone has any advice on the situation please let me know.
